Tomorrow is the devil's day, but today is God's. Satan does not care how spiritual your intentions are, or how holy your resolutions, if only they are determined to be done tomorrow.

Sanctifying faith is a grace of which the very life is action: it "worketh by love," and, like a main-spring, moves the whole inward man. (Gal. v. 6.)

All the children of God on earth are alike in this respect. From the moment there is any life and reality about their religion, they pray. Just as the first sign of life in an infant when born into the world, is the act of breathing, so the first act of men and women when they are born again, is praying.

In justification, the word to be addressed to us is "believe" — only believe; in sanctification, we must "watch, pray, and fight." What God has divided, let us not mingle and confuse.

Let it never be said that we cannot know whether a Christian really loves Christ. It can be known. It can be discovered. The proof can be seen. You have heard them this very day. Love to the Lord Jesus Christ is no hidden, secret, unseen thing. It is like the light — it will be seen. It is like sound — it will be heard. It is like heat — it will be felt. Where it exists, it cannot be hidden. Where it cannot be seen, you can be sure there is none.

It's okay, you can do it, I know you can. Don't worry, just carry on, you can do it!

Our job is not to figure out the 'how'. The 'how' will show up out of the commitment and believe in the 'what.

If they could not understand the words about Jesus then we Christians should show them what He was like by the way we lived. I remembered He had said, 'If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.' So this was the beginning of what I called 'walking the extra mile'. There seemed to be a lot of Christians who did not mind walking one, not many who could be bothered to walk two, and no one who wanted to walk three. Those in need that I met seemed to need a marathon.

Don't ask God what He's doing. That's the wrong thing to ask. Ask Him what you should be doing.

Jesus said that when we put others ahead of ourselves, the world will see God's love through us.

We cannot know all of the things that are going on behind the scenes that we see in the photographs. They do not show us how Hashem is at work.

How many times have I claimed to be a woman of faith but rarely lived a life requiring faith?
