Christianity is not a purely intellectual, internal faith. It can only be lived in community.

When God calls people to do something, their initial response is almost always fear. If there is a challenge in front of you, a course of action that could cause you to grow and that would be helpful to people around you, but you find yourself scared about it, there's a real good chance that God is in that challenge.

The Bible's teaching on prayer leads overwhelmingly to one conclusion: Prayer changes things.

When you heart is ablaze with the love of God, when you love other people - especially the ripsnorting sinners - so much that you dare to tell them about Jesus with no apologies, then never fear, there will be results.

It's never too late. We've come around to a better way of life with showing love and giving love. That's what matters.

Get on your knees and pray, then get on your feet and work.

Of course we're Christian. The very name of the church declares that. The more people see us and come to know us, the more I believe they will come to realize that we are trying to exemplify in our lives and in our living the great ideals which (Jesus Christ) taught.

I hope you will simply do what you can do in the best way you know. If you do so, you will witness miracles come to pass.

Theology is not only about understanding the world; it is about mending the world.

We don't praise God to feel good, but to do good.

Truth has the biggest mouth in the universe, wisdom has the largest ears, love has the strongest hands, and faith has the ablest feet.
