Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. The Peace I give is sufficient for you.

God wants more than anything to let us know he is with us. He sees what we are going through and he cares. Furthermore, he is such a big God that he can afford to deal with us on an intimate level, to encourage us and to wink at us and to hold our hands when we need him to do that.

Hear Jesus say, "Jill, I will never hurt you or shame you. I told you I will never leave you nor forsake you. Never! I love you with an everlasting and perfect love." Can you hear Jesus say this? JILL: Yes.

Where God tears great gaps we should not try to fill them with human words. They should remain open. Our only comfort is the God of the resurrection, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ...

As Lamentations 3:33 states, "For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men."

When we can't bottle our tears up anymore, God catches every one in His bottle. God's catching every falling tear because He won't let us fall apart.

The greatest comfort in this life is having a close relationship with God.

Not even death can take us from the eternal blessings promised by a loving Heavenly Father.

In our darkest moments, when we cry out to God and wonder if He's listening, He sometimes whispers, Wait. It's a hard word to hear yet comforting as well. It means He is there, He is with us, and He has a plan, even if it is not our plan.

But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; …" Luke 1:30 How like the Lord to identify our fears and hasten to ease them. Notice that Gabriel called her by name: "Mary, you have nothing to fear" (MSG). God knew her name just as he knows ours.
