You don't have to spend your life mourning over something you can't do anything about. God wants to heal and restore every hurt, injustice, and mistake in your life. God will help you.… He's waiting to help you.

As a follower of Jesus through faith in Him, the Holy Spirit is your only hope of ever consistently acting like a man. He is the courage to make right choices, the guide toward truth and away from error, the source of our comfort, and the provider of our strength. His primary tool is the Word of God.

Like a child who suddenly stops sobbing when he is clasped in the arms of his mother, such will be the grip of heaven upon our souls.

There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still.

Christ gives peace to the most sinful and miserable that come to Him. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

Go to sleep in peace. God is awake.

God does not comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters.

God walks with us. He scoops us up in His arms or simply sits with us in silent strength until we cannot avoid the awesome recognition that yes, even now, He is there.

Don't touch the ark of God! It is the God of Israel who is wounding people with regards to their sin. Do NOT comfort the soul that God is breaking.

God doesn't owe us an explanation for everything and actually what I've found is that explanations don't comfort. What comforts is the presence of God, not the explanation of God.
