There was a possibility that God really did love me, me Maya Angelou. I suddenly began to cry at the gravity and grandeur of it all. I knew that if God loved me, then I could do wonderful things, I could try great things, learn anything, achieve anything. For what could stand against me, since one person, with God, constitutes the majority?

I know for sure that love saves me. And that it is here to save us all. I know it's a sense, it's more close to us than air, more loud to us than hearing. I know it. I know that we can sit in it. Yes, love honey, and you know by that, I don't mean mush, or any, I don't mean romance, or sentimentality. I mean something is so, it can raise the dead. It can make a mountain move. I know it. I haven't done it, but i know it. As surely as I'm sitting here.

In later years I asked her if she loved me and she brushed me off with; God is love. Just worry about whether you're being a good girl, then He will love you.

Every human being longs for unfailing love. Lavish love. Focused love. Radical love. Love we can count on.

JESUS IS NOT unhealthy. Not codependent with us.

If you become a person who makes a life-style of believing God, you will become bolder in your love for others and what you're willing to believe God for in their lives. Your fruit is going to start showing, and so is the power of your prayer life.

I pray that you … may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:18 (NIV)

Everybody needs to be loved with a love that will never fail or go away. Truly, our hearts will never be healthy unless we learn to accept, receive, and abide in God's unfailing love.

The titanic difference between God's affections and ours is that His are incorruptible. We process information about Him as if His emotions were created in our image rather than ours in His image. The original source of all emotion is utterly undefiled.

The Word of God says that He is holy, most righteous, most perfect, full of splendor—He is a God who has set His affections on you. Keep
