The only unhappiness is not to love God.

God loves you just because He loves you.

Whatever the question, love is the answer.

There is no separation. There is no chasm between you and the heavens. There is no divider, no veil between you and God's love.

God saw your entire life from beginning to end, birth to hearse, and in spite of what he saw, he still dreams of having you by his side. Even with your faults and failures. Despite your muddles and missteps. He still stands near, arms open wide, ready to embrace you with a Father's love.

Illustrate stubborn love. Incarnate fidelity.

Trust God's hold on you more than your hold on God. His faithfulness does not depend on yours. His performance is not predicated on yours. His love is not contingent on your own. Your candle may flicker, but it will not expire. God's love for you does not—will not—end.

Don't confuse God's love with the love of people. The love of people often increases with performance and decreases with mistakes. Not so with God's love. He loves you right where you are.

you will get to know God, his purpose for you, and his love for you like you never have before.

I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may . . . grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. [ Ephesians 3:17—18 NIV

Love is that condition in the human spirit so profound that it allows me to survive, and better than that, to thrive with passion, compassion, and style.

Love heals. Heals and liberates. I use the word love , not meaning sentimentality, but a condition so strong that it may be that which holds the stars in their heavenly positions and that which causes the blood to flow orderly in our veins.
