There comes a time when the cup of endurance runs over, and men are no longer willing to be plunged into the abyss of despair.

There comes a time when people get tired of being pushed out of the glittering sunlight of life's July and left standing amidst the piercing chill of an Alpine November.

I wish I had the power to tell them that the despair of their hearts was not to be final, and their night was not without hope. For the battle they lost can never be lost. It may sleep, but it will awaken. It may wear chains, but it will break through. And man will go on.

Let nothing disturb you, nothing frighten you, all things are passing, God is unchanging. Patience gains all; nothing is lacking to those who have God: God alone is sufficient.
