The strength of patience hangs on our capacity to believe that God is up to something good for us in all our delays and detours.

Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise." 2 Peter 3:9.

Why resist the overtures of mercy? Why say, "Let me alone," until God shall be compelled to give you your desire, since you will have it so?

I always wondered why it took "three days" for significant things to happen in the Bible--Jonah spent three days in the belly of the whale, Jesus spent three days in the tomb, Paul spent three days blind in Damascus--and now I know. From earliest times, people learned that was how long they had to wait in the dark before the sliver of the new moon appeared in the sky. For three days every month they practiced resurrection.

Until the time is right, disappear we will.

Do not allow defeat to extinguish your dreams. If you keep working and remain optimistic, opportunities can come your way.

I honestly feel like I've been mostly toiling in obscurity until a little bit after 'Day Of the Dog' came out.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. ISAIAH 40 : 29 — 31

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8 : 28 But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. MICAH 7 : 7

With Me all things are possible! Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. —JOSHUA 1: 9

I will increase your strength and your courage when you look to Me. Refuse to grow discouraged.
