You are braver then you believe, stronger then you seem, and smarter then you think.

God never hurries. There are no deadlines against which he must work. Only to know this is to quiet our spirits and relax our nerves.

there's a time for everything in your life. God alone knows what that is. And because His Spirit dwells within you, and because He is deeply interested in helping you experience the fullness of His plans for your life, you can just stay tuned and know that He'll make it clear to you right on time, even as He keeps you loved and encouraged by His presence all along the way.

When the brook dries up because there is no rain, but you say, "Praise the Lord," you bring great honor to God. Trust Him to show you the next step forward. He will. He is never too early, never too late, but always just on time. When God closes a door, He opens a window. Learn to accept the closed door and be prepared for the surprising window that will open. It opened for Elijah and it will open for you.

How can I know God wants to get into my life like that? When I have come to the end of my own strength, I may be sure that God's time is at hand.

You're at the hotel and after that you go to the venue and sit there and wait.

Wait the end with joy. It is the end which characterizes everything and which tests a man's expectations.

I'm not a fast writer at all. I come empty and wait upon the Lord. So it really is all a waiting process, a patient process.

You have to find some way to not become a cynical or negative person, a person who keeps walking around and opening your eyes in the outside world but inside you close down, a person who stops expecting tomorrow to be better than today.
