Whenever our pursuit is for blessings instead of for the Lord, He will remove or withhold so that we will cry out for Him again.

Now, according to the strength or weakness of his faith in his Savior, so is his joy and peace, so is his love for holiness, so are his desires to know Him more and to serve Him more single-mindedly in this present world. But

When I want to really get to know someone, I ask three questions. People's answers to these give me great insight into someone's heart. The questions are: What do you dream about? What do you sing about? What do you cry about?

If you know who you are, make the changes you must in order to learn and grow, and then give everything you've got to your dreams, you can achieve anything your heart desires.

So often we lack desire because our delight is not great enough. God promises us that if we delight in him, we will desire things we need, and he will give them to us.

What do they cry about? To know where people truly want to go, you've got to know what touches their hearts. What do they sing about? In the long run, people need to focus a lot of energy on what gives them joy. What do they dream about? If you can help people discover their dreams and truly believe in them, you can help them become who they were designed to be. Becoming a Person of Influence

Never forget that the greatest reward of pursuing a dream is who you become as a result.

Passion gives you energy.

You must desire the fire, and claim your flame!

Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.

Desire means never quit.

...Everything that is, desires to be. As we act, we unfold our being. Enjoyment naturally follows, for a thing desired always brings delight.
