It's always been my dream, it's always been my vision to work as an actor in Hollywood, in drag and out of drag.

Don't dismiss the idea of a comeback if you're someone who is already saved and walking faithfully with the Lord. You may need a fresh start after you find that your dreams—holy dreams—have crashed into pieces at your feet.

Chances are good that you once had a dream—a big, noble, beautiful dream—that you could envision coming true, but that dream was snatched away. An experience like that leaves you longing for a comeback.

God is a dream-giving God. He's given you and me dreams.

What's great now is that I know that Jesus trumps our desires. Jesus opens up a story for us that fulfills (and exceeds) our heart's desire if we delight in him. Jesus doesn't cram us into preset molds; he molds us for God-birthed purposes.

So plant this in your mind: "We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28 NASB).

To wish to be well is a part of becoming well.

The enjoyment of God is the only happiness with which our souls can be satisfied. To go to heaven, fully to enjoy God, is infinitely better than the most pleasant accommodations here. Fathers and mothers, husbands, wives, or children, or the company of earthly friends, are but shadows; but God is the substance. These are but scattered beams, but God is the sun. These are but streams, but God is the fountain. These are but drops; but God is the ocean.

Lord, I want to know You the best a man can know You. I want to please You the best a man can please You. Show me Your heart, reveal to me what is important to You, and show me what is not so important to You. Teach me Your ways and may my life bring joy to You...

There's One Person above all others who desires an extraordinary life for you. He is a Father who delights, like any good father, in the achievements and happiness of His children. His name is God! And nothing will please Him more than seeing you reach your highest potential.
