Yes, faith still moves mountains. But sometimes the greater act of faith is not praying for the mountain to move instantly but rather hanging in there while God helps you to move it bit by bit.

Dear Lord, I want to wait in calm and patient expectation today. Please take my exhaustion and turn it into expectation; take my feelings of hopelessness and give me real hope. I want to stop resisting Your truths and start applying them. I will do all that I can today, and I will wait with anticipation for all that You will do through me. In Jesus' name. Amen.

When things are going wrong, praise Him anyway! Thank Him in advance for the good He will surely bring from all situations (Romans 8:28).

May your ordinary be invaded with His extraordinary invitation to press through the famine phase and to live life His way!

I love my Jesus with all my heart, so why would I offer anything less than an ignited prayer life?

We must invite God into our pain to help us survive the desperate in-between.

I can face things out of my control without acting out of control.

Even amid hardship, trials, and things that don't go the way we want them to, we can find something to be joyful about.

We can't always fix our circumstances, but we can fix our minds on God. We can do that.

It's hard when we are living in that space where our head knows God can do anything, but our heart is heavy because He's not doing what we are hoping for.

I know that war is very cruel and that life is harder when you aren't able to live in the place you called home.
