Give yourself-not just your time-to prayer. Remember that prayer is not an appendix to your life and your work, it is your life your real, spiritual life-and your work. Prayer is the thermometer of your soul.

You cannot always control what happens to you, but you can control what happens in you.

Ben Franklin quipped, Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall receive it. Negative expectations are a quick route to dead-end thinking.
