God's will doesn't just drop into our laps when we're sittin' still. Nee, He guides us when we're walking in His steps, moving forward. That way, He can stop us or nudge us onward.

No one's stuck anywhere unless they choose to be. The Lord God guides those who are moving forward.

If you lower the ambient noise of your life and listen expectantly for those whispers of God, your ears will hear them. And when you follow their lead, your world will be rocked.

It is the most amazing time in the world to be alive in God — to hear his voice, to hear what he is saying, to see what he intends to do in the earth, and what his heart is like for the people. It is an amazing time.

In learning how God speaks to us I've also learned that besides unusual coincidences

To follow Him, we must be willing to follow off the map—to go beyond what we know. To do so successfully we must recognize His presence above all.

God never fails to give you the tools you need beforehand. You can see this aspect of His nature in this episode of the Exodus story: Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, "Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt" (Exodus 13:17).

The name 'Seventh-day Adventist' carries the true features of our faith in front and will convict the inquiring mind. Like an arrow from the Lord's quiver, it will wound the transgressors of God's law, and will lead to repentance toward God, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

I had toured around England endlessly throughout my teens, but when I came to the U.S. to perform on Broadway, that was a huge step.

Strong and content I travel the open road.

When the Lord opens a door, walk through it. If He doesn't, just trust.
