It is love alone that leads to right action. What brings order in the world is to love and let love do what it will.

The love of Christ comes from simple people who love simple people. Never be fooled by the spiritual leader who knows a lot but doesn't love a lot.

Love may be the ultimate solution to all man's difficulties, problems and travails.

To be in a relationship with God is to be loved purely and furiously. And a person who thinks himself unlovable cannot be in a relationship with God because he can't accept who God is; a Being that is love. We learn that we are lovable or unlovable from other people...That is why God tells us so many times to love each other.

We cannot love God unless we love each other, and to love we must know each other. We know Him in the breaking of bread, and we know each other in the breaking of bread, and we are not alone anymore. Heaven is a banquet and life is a banquet, too, even with a crust, where there is companionship.

When it comes down to it, even on the natural plane, it is much happier and more enlivening to love than to be loved.

Oh, I love hugging. I wish I was an octopus, so I could hug 10 people at a time!

But how can we effectively represent Christ, who in sacrificial love gave his life for others, if we don't deeply care about those he died for? And since "God is love" (1 John 4:8), doesn't it follow that the one great distinguishing characteristic of Christians everywhere should be a self-sacrificing love for people? Doctrine, apologetics, spiritual gifts, and prophecy charts are all great, but God is love. Without love, everything becomes meaningless (1 Cor. 13).

Love is a choice — a decision we make to put the well-being of the other person before our own. And forgiveness is also a decision.

When one heart opens to another heart, it usually results in love.
