When satan wants you to cry and you laugh, you defeat him

God has a right to interrupt your life. He is Lord. When you accepted Him as Lord, you gave Him the right to help Himself to your life anytime He wants.

The devil's one object is so to depress God's people that he can go to the man of the world and say: There are God's people. Do you want to be like that?

The devil wants to convince you that dying is the worst thing. It is very much easier to do what god made you for than not.

Run for the hills. The Bible commands us to "flee immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Only a fool says, "I can handle temptation without sinning." The wise man says, "I'm not going anywhere near it.

Satan is screaming lies over us all day long. And God whispers the truth is a still, small voice. So often the voice we listen to most is the one we hear loudest.

We know of no cure for the love of evil in a Christian like daily communion with the Lord Jesus.

Every day, and every minute of every day, there is a battle going on inside of you between doing what is right, hard, and necessary (like the angel on one shoulder) or doing what is fun, easy, and of little or no value (like the devil on your other shoulder). Every minute of every day, you must fight and win this battle with the Expediency Factor and resist the pull of the Path of Least Resistance if you truly desire to become everything you are capable of becoming.

That we ought to give ourselves up to GOD, with regard both to things temporal and spiritual, and seek our satisfaction only in the fulfilling of His will, whether He lead us by suffering or by consolation, for all would be equal to a soul truly resigned

Once you have surrendered yourself, you make yourself receptive. In receiving from God, you are perfected and completed.

The Church's objectivity is not subjectivized by the affirmation that the only framework in which the Church can remain the Church of the Lord is the framework of faith, prayer, obedience and subjection.

The freedom of the man of God has nothing to do with autonomy and does not stand opposed to submission to God.
