I have not had tragic incidences in my life that have rocked my personal being. The thing that really has been my biggest enemy in this world has been pressure. And people. People who I love. People who look at me differently. The pressure is tough, man. I'm not gonna lie. It's the hardest part. Easily.

It is wrong to pass one's time in fretting, instead of sleeping on the Heart of Jesus.

A true prayer is an inventory of needs, a catalog of necessities, an exposure of secret wounds, a revelation of hidden poverty.

Anxiety is loves greatest killer.

God's preferred state for humankind is that we live free from fear, experiencing shalom, or peace. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture is packed with references that emphasize God's desire for a fear-free, peace-filled world.

God has called His creation to find satisfaction in a personal relationship with Him, and stop trying to manage the world by conforming it to our expectations, and to allow Him to govern His creation. He continues to say through an ancient Hebrew worship song, Be still and know that I am God!

Life...as God intended it enables us to live above the drag of fear, superstition, shame, pessimism, guilt, anxiety, worry, and all the negativity that keeps people from seizing each day as a gift from Him.

When we panic, we instinctively turn to our own internal resources because we doubt Him.

Do not allow fear to bind you up, dear one. You will only lose what you already have.

Any time you find yourself worrying about anything, or upset because someone has dishonored or betrayed you, it is only because you have placed your faith in something other than Jesus.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
