Christians are simply pilgrims who acknowledge their lostness and their desire for help in finding the way.

I can't do it. It would be like, say, trying to fall in love with somebody, or trying to convince yourself that your favorite food is pancakes. You don't decide those things, they just happen to you. If God is real, He needs to happen to me.

Torah says that if you seek Yahweh your God you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and soul.

Time and a hundred daily distractions can slowly turn us away from God before we even realize it's happening. But I urge you to keep reading your Bible. Jesus said if you seek Him you will find Him, if you search for Him with all your heart. He's with us everywhere we go, Anna. He's not just in a church building.

When we seek God, we see God.

Seeking with all of your heart requires more than just the routine Christian good girl checklist.

God is who He says He is, and He will do what He says He will do. But to partner with Him in His work of transformation in our lives, we must seek Him with all our hearts. It's our choice whether we stay stuck in our hurt or get renewed in our hearts.
