We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.

We gain the ability to rejoice under pressure through a carefully monitored training program directed by the Lord Himself.

If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

If we can trust the sufferings of Christ for our sake then we can trust Christ when we suffer for His sake.

Have you ever said, "Well, all we can do now is pray"? . . . When we come to the end of ourselves, we come to the beginning of God.

Patience in our lives springs from God's power based upon our willingness to learn it.

Its not over, until the Lord says its over.

The next time you're disappointed, don't panic. Don't give up. Just be patient and let God remind you He's still in control.

Not one ounce, not one grain-weight more is laid on me than He hath enabled me to bear . . . Faith hath cause to take courage from our very afflictions; the devil is but a whetstone to sharpen the faith and patience of the saints. I know He but heweth and polisheth stones for the new Jerusalem.
