Some of us have little spiritual vitality because we fail to feed on Christ day by day. Over time, we become spiritually anorexic.

Bread of Life? Jesus lived up to the title. But an unopened loaf does a person no good. Have you received the bread? Have you received God's forgiveness?

Prayer is the way the life of God is nourished.

Food cannot take care of spiritual, psychological and emotional problems, but the feeling of being loved and cared for, the actual comfort of the beauty and flavour of food, the increase of blood sugar and physical well-being, help one to go on during the next hours better equipped to meet the problems.

Man did eat angels' food.

Hoc est enim Corpus meum [For this is My Body].

There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labor.

Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns.

As bread is the first need of the body, so forgiveness for the soul.

The manna of one day was corrupt when the next day came. I must every day have fresh grace from heaven, and I obtain it only in direct waiting upon God Himself. Begin each day by tarrying before God, and letting Him touch you. Take time to meet God.

The doing of God's will would then be, instead of exhausting, our meat and drink, our nourishment and refreshment and strength. The LORD is good unto them that

If you want to mark your covenant with God, to seal your covenant with God, to renew your covenant with God, you have to eat the Lamb—the paschal lamb Who is our unleavened bread. It begins to sound familiar. "Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood, you have no life in you" (Jn 6: 54).
