The prerequisite for receiving the grace of God is to know you need it.

If you want God's grace, all you need is need, all you need is nothing.

Grace ceases to be grace if God is compelled to bestow it in the presence of human merit.

God touches and moves, warns and desires all equally, and He wants one quite as much as another. The inequality lies in the way in which His touch, His warnings, and His gifts are received.

When grace happens, we receive not a nice compliment from God but a new heart. Give your heart to Christ, and he returns the favor.
