As my father, St. Francis, put it, when the heart is pure, "Love responds to Love alone" and has little to do with duty, obligation, requirement, or heroic anything. It is easy to surrender when you know that nothing but Love and Mercy is on the other side.

Grace, like an angel of mercy, makes his voice heard sweet and clear, repeating the story of the cross, the matchless love of Jesus.

Jesus had much to say to the Pharisees of His day. They had a polished performance, kept the laws, followed all the rules and regulations, and were proud of it. They also had a judgmental attitude toward others, did not walk in love, and showed no mercy. Jesus called them whitewashed tombs full of dead men's bones (Matthew 23:27).

people who have been saved by grace grow to love giving grace to others.

Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel.

God doesn't just give us grace; He gives us Jesus, the Lord of grace.

It is by God's mercy that we are saved. May we never tire of spreading this joyful message to the world.

Let us allow God to fill our hearts with his goodness and mercy.

It is only as we remember and embrace His generous grace toward us that we can extend it to others.

God's wrath was not just withdrawn. It was spent. Full atonement can it be? Hallelujah, what a Savior!
