But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. If God is compassionate, then certainly those who love God should be compassionate as well.

What I do know with unwavering certainty is the heart of the father. It is a heart of limitless mercy.

We need to show mercy. I mean, because as much mercy as you show people, that's the mercy you're going to be receiving.

The LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." —NUMBERS 6:25—26

If I had not felt certain that every additional trial was ordered by infinite love and mercy, I could not have survived my accumulated suffering.

Every single human being is created in the image of God; created for dignity, created for the Father's love, created for kindness, created for mercy.

When we received forgiveness instead of judgment, we too were made ready to forgive each other. What God did to us, we then owed to others. The more we received, the more we were able to give; and the more meager our love for one another, the less we were living by God's mercy and love.

I know. And that's the thing about grace. And love, too. They're not fair at all.

What we must look for is God's mercy. God's mercy shown through our own.

By these words it is plain he does not make love the cause of forgiveness, but the proof of it.

Mercy is the true power that can save humanity and the world from sin and evil.
