My best relationship is the one I have with myself. I know I am always connected to a Universe that loves me. I draw loving people and loving experiences to me.

No matter how good or bad we may feel, no matter how up or down we may be, Christ loves us, accepts us, and thinks the world of us.

But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God.

It isn't about singing a particular hymn or reciting a prayer — it's about a relationship with your Heavenly Father who loves and cares for you.

Why pray? Evidently, God likes to be asked. God certainly does not need our wisdom or our knowledge, nor even the information contained in our prayers ("your Father knows what you need before you ask him"). But by inviting us into the partnership of creation, God also invites us into relationship. God is love, said the apostle John. God does not merely have love or feel love. God is love and cannot not love. As such, God yearns for relationship with the creatures made in his image.

Love is worth as much as prayer. Sometimes more.

God will never disappoint us. He loves us and has only one purpose for us : holiness, which in His kingdom equals joy.

The love of God is not a sentiment. It is a willed and inexorable love that will command nothing less than the very best for us. The love of God wills our joy. I think of the love of God as being synonymous with the will of God.

Well, that's what faith is about, isn't it? If you really believe that somebody loves you then you trust them. The will of God is love. And love suffers. That's how we know what

Love is and was my lord and king.

Soon I will sleep. What shall I dream of, my love? I will dream of you, of course. And I will dream for a place for us to be, a sanctuary where hearts will never break again. This is my dream, my heart. Never forget that there is no end to us, as there can be no end to love. Love must last forever, or why else would there be love? Until then, I will dream.

Where there is love, it is Jesus that will surely triumph.
