Choose, instead, to believe God is going to do something even better in your life.

Don't just serve God, enjoy God. Enjoy being God's child. Enjoy the little corner of life that He has given you!

We should want Him more than anything. If we seek Him first, then all other things will be added to our lives.

Many people will never succeed at being themselves because they cannot even get into agreement with God.

We need to be enthusiastic! Too many of us walk around with long faces looking and feeling worn-out. But the human heart was made for passion, for strong desire to reach for something beyond ourselves.

God is not necessarily looking for people with amazing abilities, but He searches for availability and a person who is willing to simply do whatever He asks them to do. If we will lift our hands to God and say, "I am available to do whatever You want me to do," we will have peace and joy as we journey through life.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ROMANS 8:28 KJV

And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him. 1 JOHN 3:22

Contentment with life is not a feeling, but it is a decision we must make.

Don't spend your time chasing blessings. Chase God, and the blessings will chase you.

We must learn to seek God's face and not His hand! Our heavenly Father delights in giving His children good things, but only if we are not seeking after them.
