Somehow in the mess of it, Jesus stayed. He kept his commitment to me when I was at a loss to consistently keep what seemed a single commitment to him.

The longer I live, the less I find God to be a hand shaker. Hand holder? Yes. Hand shaker? No.

I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. Philippians 4:11

The Lord will not forsake His people or abandon His heritage. Psalm 94:14

Who walks his path beside me Feels my hand upon him always. No effort he makes is wasted, Nor unseen, unguided by me.

Thank You, Lord, that You are with me in everything that I face. No matter what comes against me, You are greater and more powerful. I ask You to be with me in the things I face today. I praise You and Your greatness in the midst of all that seems large and looming in my life.

I follow You, Lord, because You are my home. Wherever You are is where I belong.

God knows where you are. You are never alone because He is always with you. That's why you can never be lost to Him.

That "henceforth the heat of having shall never scorch him more.
