GROUNDED. UNFLAPPABLE. Got it together. A few people among us seem to have learned the secret of life. When others around them are losing their cool, these people remain calm, think clearly, and make good choices. No, they aren't supermen and superwomen, and no, they aren't on drugs. They've learned to tap into God's wisdom.

What, then, does Christ's invitation mean? It doesn't mean He'll make life as easy as a cruise; instead, He promises to equip us for the long hike. How? By giving us the knowledge and wisdom we need to take the next step at each point on the journey.

I can tell the difference between the acts of a man and the acts of God. That's why I still believe. I could always tell the difference.

God gave Adam and Eve that free will and choice. He gave them one warning: eat of any tree that is here, including the wonderful tree of life, but don't eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil…I wish Adam and Eve had thought more about what knowledge meant. Eve saw it as a good thing, to know more. But how do you really know something? You experience it

At the moment you consciously make a choice, pay attention to your body and ask your body, "If I make this choice, what happens?" If your body sends a message of comfort, that's the right choice. If your body sends a message of discomfort, then it's not the appropriate choice.

But first, become aware of the choices that you are making in every moment. The more you become aware of your choices, the more you will make choices that are spontaneously correct — both for you and for those around you.

When you are ready, guidance will come. Rely on the people who are in your life now; face your dark energies as honestly as you can; respect your boundaries and those of everyone around you. As you peel back each layer of the onion, the teacher who can lead you on will show up, almost miraculously matching the very moment when guidance is needed.

If you obsess over whether you are making the right decision, you are basically assuming that the universe will reward you for one thing and punish you for another. The universe has no fixed agenda. Once you make any decision, it works around that decision. There is no right or wrong, only a series of possibilities that shift with each thought, feeling and action that you experience.

Since God has infinite intelligence, the more your perception expands, the closer you come to God. There's not even a need to seek, only to see.

When you are living the truth of one reality, every secret reveals itself without effort or struggle.

If you live the questions, life will move you into the answers.

The truth. I don't even know what that is anymore. Be patient. Pray about it, and listen to God. He'll help you figure it out.
