The more you ask certain questions, the more dangerous they become.

To learn is to receive, and then it is to give, and then it is to give again.

God withholds blessing only in wisdom, never in spite or aloofness.

The disciplined Christian will be very careful what sort of counsel he seeks from others. Counsel that contradicts the written Word is ungodly counsel. Blessed is the man that walketh not in that.

A few clear pronouncements on one side and a few honest questions on the other had, in a matter of minutes, shown me that life was not going to be as simple, ever again, as I had thought.

And one more thing: I seek the lessons God wants to teach me, and that means that I ask why.

The Bible's answers are never to be separated from the God of the Bible.

Learning to pray is learning to trust the wisdom, the power, and the love of our Heavenly Father, always so far beyond our dreams.
