With thoughts of the past and concerns about the future, we rob ourselves of a full experience of the present.

We fear that this moment will end, that we won't get what we need, that we will lose what we love, or that we will not be safe. Often, our biggest fear is the knowledge that one day our bodies will cease functioning. So even when we are surrounded by all the conditions for happiness, our joy is not complete.

I live every day to its fullest extent and I don't sweat the small stuff.

Doubt and fear of the future are behind the reluctance of many to wholeheartedly accept and follow God's invitation to join Him.

One great idea of the biblical revelation is that God is manifest in the ordinary, in the actual, in the daily, in the now, in the concrete incarnations of life, and not through purity codes and moral achievement contests, which are seldom achieved anyway… We do not think ourselves into new ways of living, we live ourselves into new ways of thinking… The most courageous thing we will ever do is to bear humbly the mystery of our own reality.

Know that things are okay as they are. This moment is as perfect as it can be. The saints called this the "sacrament of the present moment.

Until and unless there is a person, situation, event, idea, conflict, or relationship that you cannot "manage," you will never find the True Manager. So, God makes sure that several things will come your way that you cannot manage on your own.

The concern was about getting the beginning right, and then life and eternity would take care of themselves. We have been preoccupied with getting the end right, for some reason.

All that each of us can do is to live in the now that is given. We cannot rush the process;

Every day I pray. I yield myself to God and the tensions and anxieties go out of me and peace and power come in.

We all long for heaven where God is, but we have it in our power to be in heaven with him right now-to be happy with him at this very moment. But being happy with him now means.

Pray, and let God worry.
