The fiercest storm is taking place in some of our churches—the unbelief and disobedience of God's Word.

The Bible teaches that faith is the only approach that we have to God. No man has sins forgiven, no man goes to heaven, no man has assurance of peace and happiness, until he has faith in Jesus Christ.

Faith implies four things: self-renunciation, reliance with utter confidence on Christ, obedience, and a changed life.

Faith is loved and honored by God more than any other single thing.

Jesus did not die on the cross for people's sin so that we would believe in Heaven—but that we would believe in Him. Heaven does not save souls... it collects them.

On the words of Ps. 21:3: "O My God, I shall cry day by day, and Thou wilt not hear".

This is a life of faith, for God will try the truth of our faith, so that the world may see that God has such servants as will depend upon His bare word.

God has created several doors which open onto truth. He opens them to all those who knock on them with the hand of faith.

Testimony requires the nurturing by the prayer of faith, the hungering for the word of God in the scriptures, and the obedience to the truth.

I never was deeply interested in any object; I never prayed sincerely and earnestly for anything, but it came at some time - no matter how distant, in some way, in some shape, probably the last I should have devised, it came. And yet, I have always had so little faith. God forgive me.

To require God to prove that He is able and willing to fulfill His promises would be proof positive that one does not trust Him.

It's not enough merely to believe there is a God. You must believe in the God who is there.
