On the words of Ps. 21:3: "O My God, I shall cry day by day, and Thou wilt not hear".

This is a life of faith, for God will try the truth of our faith, so that the world may see that God has such servants as will depend upon His bare word.

God has created several doors which open onto truth. He opens them to all those who knock on them with the hand of faith.

Testimony requires the nurturing by the prayer of faith, the hungering for the word of God in the scriptures, and the obedience to the truth.

To require God to prove that He is able and willing to fulfill His promises would be proof positive that one does not trust Him.

It's not enough merely to believe there is a God. You must believe in the God who is there.

We call our religion the Great Romance, but really it feels more like a list of rules than anything similar to the Great Romance we once had. But now I think the knowledge of Elyon is starting to work its way into me again--in both realities...If Elyon's real there, surely God must be real here.

Whether we see God or only seek to see God, I believe we add to the Divine Essence when we simply fasten our minds and lives onto God.

For we are now so blind and unwise that we never seek God till He of His goodness shew Himself to us. And when we aught see of Him graciously, then are we stirred by the same grace to seek with great desire to see Him more blissfully. And thus I saw Him, and sought Him; and I had Him, I wanted Him. And this is, and should be, our common working in this [life], as to my sight.

Someone is reckoned as upright not by practicing the Law but by faith in Jesus Christ" (Galatians 2:16)?

Getting answers to my questions is not the goal of the spiritual life. Living in the presence of God is the greater call.
