The very moment you separate body and spirit, you end up with a corpse. Separate faith and works and you get the same thing: a corpse.

What we require is obedience—the strength to stand and the willingness to leap, and the sense to know when to do which. Which is exactly what we get when an accurate memory of God's ways is combined with a lively hope in his promises.

Faith is focused entirely on God and exists because of Him. Faith is active, and is completely dissatisfied with theories and ideals that cannot be proven, that do not bear fruit. It derives its life from the voice and nature of God. It is unto God, to bring Him pleasure and glory. Such a life is anything but a comfortable life of caution. It is bold, brave, courageous and risky.

When they heard the testimony of what God had done, the anointing on the testimony opened a realm of possibility. The atmosphere became pregnant with the opportunity for the miracle that had been described in the testimony to be duplicated. When they engaged their faith and stepped into that opportunity in the slightest measure, that possibility became reality.

It is much easier to do something than to trust in God. That is why there are so few fellow workers with God and so many workers for Him. We would far rather work for God than believe in Him.

Faith is professed with the lips and with the heart, through words & through love.

Love without faith is as bad as faith without love.

Don't you think God can work however he chooses?" "I believe God worked, and the rest is up to us.

We do our way into better feelings. We do not feel our way into better doing.

He has a mind to do. Faith happens when believers believe. This book is about developing an action verb faith that invites the exhilaration of holy participation.

God can credit our faith as righteousness without concern that we'll take advantage of the freedom. He knows faith that doesn't lead to obedience is all talk and no walk.

Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works. James 2:18
