God reminded Samuel that the human mind has an overwhelming tendency to make assumptions based on appearances. God's choices don't always make sense to us, but they are never haphazard or random.

Stop looking at others as if they are so much more spiritual than you and just start believing God!

As for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing those from whom you learned. 2 Timothy 3:14

Wise God, You promise to guide the humble in what is right and teach them Your way. (Ps. 25:9) Give me a humble heart so I will follow You in what is right and learn Your way.

We resemble computers intellectually and animals emotionally.

If I try to be fast then I'm no good, so it's better just to shut everything off and let instinct take over.
