Mercy is the very foundation of the Church's life…The Church's very credibility is seen in how she shows merciful and compassionate love…Mercy is the force that reawakens us to new life and instills in us the courage to look to the future with hope.

She seems to give a respectful credence to the statement that "God is loveonly to hurry on to explore with real interest the possibility that God is wrath." She can read from the book of Revelation with a ringing conviction in her voice that can make the creation seem only a stage setting for the triumphant thunderation of end.

There will always be cruel and insensitive people, but those are not qualities that can be assigned to God. The Bible says that God is love. Love is never insensitive or cruel, so therefore I cannot believe God capable of such ... human attributes.
