And still greater sin is theirs who profess to know God and to keep his commandments, yet who deny Christ in their character and their daily life. In the light of the Saviour's warning, the fate of Sodom is a solemn admonition, not merely to those who are guilty of outbreaking sin, but to all who are trifling with heaven-sent light and privileges.

Heaven's work never ceases, and men should never rest from doing good.

It was on the earth that the love of God was revealed through Christ. It is on the earth that His children are to reflect this love through blameless lives.

We are to be Christ's representatives on the earth—pure, kind, just, and merciful, full of compassion, showing unselfishness in word and deed.

The completeness of Christian character is attained when the impulse to help and bless others springs constantly from within—when the sunshine of heaven fills the heart and is revealed in the countenance.—Christ's Object Lessons, pp. 383, 384.

I should not want to live unless I could live to do some good to others.

Even political insiders recognize that years of political effort on behalf of Evangelical Christians have generated little cultural gain.

We don't apologize for who we are. We do what we do as Christians. Our faith isn't hidden. There should never be a separation between God and good works.

If you're in a workplace you don't like right now, be encouraged because God will use it for your good. Think about it this way: He wants you to be a light in the darkness - and He's putting His confidence in you!

I don't believe our works save us, but I believe they follow us into heaven and bring glory to God.
