In our Christian lives, success is obedience to God, not results we can measure.

God's will is always best even when we cannot imagine how. Surrendering to His will does not mean you lose. Ultimately, it means you win. Keep hanging on to that rope and let Him pull you over to His side. One day you'll understand. And you'll see His glory.

With all my heart I believe living on and by God's Word is still the key to true success.

So either Christ can satisfy us and meet our deepest needs, or God's Word is deceptive.

Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything. 2 Timothy 2:7

If you dare to believe and yet don't get your miracle, God has a greater one planned. If what you desperately need or deeply desire is founded in the Word of God, don't let anyone tell you that God can't or that He undoubtedly won't. Remove the wonders from God, and you can no longer call Him wonderful.

God may never part the oceans, but I'll stand my ground. My faith is not in my beliefs but in the One I've found. His word is sure, when I am not

Fourteen years lapsed between the time Paul first tried to fit in with the apostles and when he finally received the right hand of fellowship. I'd like to suggest the hand didn't come a moment behind schedule. What use would God have had for Paul if he simply turned out to be another James? Another Peter? Another John? His mission was distinct. And so, Beloved, is yours. God knows what He's doing! Trust Him. God is busy making you someone no one else has ever been.

Actually, God's method of balancing our checkbooks isn't primarily about numbers. It's about attitude.

Jacob, why do you say, and Israel, why do you assert: "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my claim is ignored by my God"? Isaiah 40:27
