God may speak to us by giving us peace deep inside, giving us a creative idea, calming our troubled emotions, or filling our hearts with the calm assurance that everything is going to be okay in a certain situation.

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

I looked at that woman and thought, This poor lady thinks she is hearing from God. "But how do you know she wasn't?" you may ask. I know because if God had wanted to correct me about my clothes, He would have done it through my husband, one of my children or one of the leaders in my ministry. He would have chosen someone I knew and whose opinion I respected, not someone I had never met or even heard of before. It

God has an individualized, customized plan for your life. As you trust Him, He will bring it to pass in His timing, not yours. Waiting on God's plan and timing is wise because His ways are always best. He is the Lord of peace, and as you surrender your heart and life to Him, you will experience the peace that passes understanding.

Let God fight your battles while you remain at rest, trusting Him.

We suffer much agony because we try to get from people what only God can give us, which is a sense of worth and value. Look to God for what you need, not to people.
