Philippians 4:8 The Bible presents a lot of detailed instruction on what kinds of things we are to think about.

God is not hard to please. He does not expect us to be absolutely perfect. He just expects us to keep moving toward Him and believing in Him, letting Him work with us to bring us into conformity to His will and ways.

Think Yourself Happy

Success in every aspect of life begins with a thought; so does failure. If you think you cannot do or attain something, chances are you will not be able to. Your mind has that much influence over your life.

Proverbs 23:7 and allow it to have an impact on your life: for as you think in your heart, so are you. I frequently say, "Where the mind goes, the man follows." Chapter

There are thousands upon thousands of thoughts presented to us every day. The mind has to be renewed to follow after the Spirit and not the flesh. Our carnal (worldly, fleshly) minds have had so much practice operating freely that we surely don't have to use any effort to think wrong thoughts.

Knowing who we are in Christ sets us free from the need to impress others. As long as we know who we are, we don't have to be overly concerned about what others think of us. Once we know who we are and accept ourselves, we no longer have anything to prove. When we have nothing to prove we can relax and be at ease in every situation.

Many people will never succeed at being themselves because they cannot even get into agreement with God.

It's very easy to find fault with ourselves and think we need to be like someone else. Be who you are and don't try to be a copy!

We become addicted to approval when we base our self-worth on how people treat us or on what we believe they think about us.

Make up your mind to live differently; praise your way to victory; give God the construction project; and understand that your history is not your destiny.
