We are not only to use our armor to protect and defend ourselves from them—as important as that is—but also to go on the offensive against them as well. When we do that, we close doors to the enemy and open doors to the will of God to be done on earth. We advance God's kingdom.

We want to stay on the straight and narrow path and serve God, yet we continue a practice that often pulls us in the wrong direction.

Each day the forces of evil and the forces of good enlist new recruits. Each day we personally make many decisions showing the cause we support. The final outcome is certain---the forces of righteousness will win. But what remains to be seen is where each of us personally, now and in the future, will stand in this battle---and how tall we will stand. Will we be true to our last days and fulfill our foreordained missions?

Strengthen your commitment to Christ—now. Don't wait until the storms of temptation, or sickness, or old age threaten to blow you off-course; now is the time to strengthen your faith.

God's will is for us to commit our lives to Christ and follow Him. God's will also is that we avoid sin.

Learn to take sin seriously—be on guard against it and resist its tug, fight its power. But most of all learn to take the Holy Spirit seriously, calling on Him to help you overcome sin's power and live a holy and godly life.
