They still had much to learn about Christ's complete jurisdiction. He can meet our spiritual needs, our emotional needs, and our physical needs. He is both deeply spiritual and entirely practical. Christ was teaching them to see Him, His power, and His authority in every area of life.

You, my Lord, are the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. You will not grow tired or weary, and Your understanding no one can fathom. You give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but when I hope in You, O, Lord, my strength will be renewed. I will soar on wings like eagles; I will run and not grow weary, I will walk and not faint. (Isa. 40:28—31)

JESUS IS NOT unhealthy. Not codependent with us.

I'd go so far as to say that the deeper we have loved God, the deeper the potential for devastation when He doesn't intervene as we know He can.

Godliness is not perfection.

As long as our minds rehearse the strength of our stronghold more than the strength of our God, we will be impotent. As we pray the Word of God acknowledging His limitless strength and transcendent dominion, Truth will begin to eclipse the lies. We will realize that in our weakness He is strong and that as we bend the knee to His lordship God is more than able to deliver us.

Better to admit where you're not and ask God's help to get you where you need to be.

For we also are weak in Him, yet toward you we will live with Him by God's power. 2 Corinthians 13:4

Getting weary is no shame. The shame comes in refusing to accept the victory through another when God supplies a hero. A hero accepts help. Remember, genuine martyrs are never self-appointed.

Whether well-fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need … I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:12

We're too flawed and too challenged by history, circumstance, and chemistry to hoard grace for long.

Since it was out of ignorance that I had acted in unbelief, I received mercy, and the grace of our Lord overflowed. 1 Timothy 1:13—14
