God, I recognize I am made for more than the vicious cycle of being ruled by food. I need to eat to live, not live to eat. So, I keep asking for Your wisdom to know what to eat and Your indwelling power to walk away from things that aren't beneficial for me.

Where there is an abundance of chaos, there is usually a lack of good boundaries.

We must not confuse the command to love with the disease to please. And it's not just because of the vicious cycles of people pleasing, although that's part of it. I miss Best Yes opportunities sometimes because I simply don't know they're part of the equation. I get all twisted up in making the decision to check either the Yes or No box, not realizing there is a third box that reads Best Yes.

We consume what we think about. And what we think about can consume us if we're not careful.

Imagine the difference this could make with not setting into motion what needs to remain still.
