This is an exercise in unreality." Why do you think it does no good to imagine how we might overcome the difficulties of the day before we even know what they are?

Among all My creatures, only humans can anticipate future events. This ability is a blessing, but it becomes a curse whenever it is misused. If you use your magnificent mind to worry about tomorrow, you cloak yourself in dark unbelief. However, when the hope of heaven fills your thoughts, the Light of My Presence envelops you.

When you find yourself anxiously scanning the horizon of your life, use that as a reminder to seek My Face. You will not find Me off in the distance—I am here beside you, nearer than you dare believe.

YOU HAVE BEEN ON AN UPHILL JOURNEY for a long time, and you are growing weary. You yearn for some easy days, for a path that is not so steep. But it is the strenuous climbs that take you ever upward—closer and closer to the summit.
