A missions conference is a business meeting to decide the fate of the heathen.

Our television program airs to a potential audience of over 3 billion people, in many places where the people living there may have never even heard of Jesus.

If this world is going to be reached, I am convinced that it must be done by men and women of average talent.

It is a startling and solemnizing fact that even as late as the twentieth century, the Great Command of Jesus Christ to carry the Gospel to all mankind is still so largely unfulfilled.

There is only one Church, and the responsibility for missionary work is universal. 'Every member a missionary.'

Mission arises from the heart of God himself, and is communicated from his heart to ours. Mission is the global outreach of the global people of a global God.

Nowhere in Mark 16:15—"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" [KJV] — nor in any similar Scripture did Christ command us to go only into the Western or capitalist world. Nowhere did He say to exclude the Communist world.

I realize more than ever that this ministry has been a team effort. Without the help of our prayer partners, our financial supporters, our staff, and our board of directors—this ministry and all of our dreams to spread the Good News of God's love throughout the world would not have been possible.

The Teen Challenge Training Center on Pennsylvania farmland houses over 200 men in rehab. Other farms and centers have been birthed out of this ministry all over the world.

In the past, missionaries have traveled to far countries with the message of the gospel - with great hardship and often with the loss of life. In contrast, we can reach millions instantly from the comfort of our homes by merely hitting the 'send' button on our computers, or with iPads, or phones.

Traveling around the world and preaching for over 70 years did not give much time for reflection.

They love the heathen on the other side of the globe. They can pray for him, pay money to have the Bible put into his hand, and missionaries to instruct him; while they despise and totally neglect the heathen at their own doors. Such is, very briefly, my view of the religion of this land;
