You have no idea when or how God will answer your prayers, but don't stop praying.

Finally, I learned that we shouldn't seek answers as much as we should seek God.

We must cease striving and trust God to provide what He thinks is best and in whatever time He chooses to make it available. But this kind of trusting doesn't come naturally. It's a spiritual crisis of the will in which we must choose to exercise faith.

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD" (Psalm 27:14)?

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.

As another year ends, no doubt you have had your share of joys and disappointments. Don't live in the past, but "be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near" (James 5:8 NIV).

faith is acting as if God has already answered. And acting as if God has answered means acting on our prayers...

STOP TRYING TO WORK THINGS OUT before their times have come. Accept the limitations of living one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask Me whether or not it is part of today's agenda. If it isn't, release it into My care and go on about today's duties. When you follow this practice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life: a time for everything, and everything in its time.

If we do the little things like they are big things, then God will do the big things like they are little things.

You wait until you're ready, you'll be waiting the rest of your life. You'll never find perfect conditions, and you'll never be ready. My mantra? If you get a green light from God—go, set, ready!

God is the God of "right now." He doesn't want you sitting around regretting yesterday. Nor does He want you wringing your hands and worrying about the future. He wants you focusing on what He is saying to you and putting in front of you … right now.
