Saving us is the greatest and most concrete demonstration of God's love, the definitive display of His grace throughout time and eternity.

What can separate us from the love of God? An attempt to separate us by death simply releases us from the imprisonment of this world.

If we have loved well while we were alive, there is life after death here-our love will go on for generations.

the divine virtue, or the virtue of the divine mind, must consist primarily in love to himself, or in the mutual love and friendship which subsists eternally and necessarily between the several persons in the Godhead, or that infinitely strong propensity there is in these divine persons one to another.

The apostle John wrote, "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1 NIV). The word for "lavished" in the original language is in the perfect tense indicating that God's love is permanently fixed upon His children.

The message of grace," he said," pronounces upon the death of people and nations its eternal: I have loved you from eternity; stay with me, and you will live.

What love we've given, we'll have forever. What love we fail to give, will be lost for all eternity.
