The life God gives is not all at once, but moment by moment, through the unceasing operation of His mighty power.

And so, especially in any work you do for God, abide in Jesus as your wisdom. We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God bath before ordained that we should walk in them; let all fear or doubt lest we should not know exactly what these works are, be put far away. In Christ we are created for them: He will show us what they are, and how to do them. Cultivate the habit of rejoicing in the assurance that the divine wisdom is guiding you, even where you do not yet see the way.

Remember that Christ works in and through you, and provides all that God desires for you and all that you need.

Remember that you have been saved in order to serve, and you are on earth for the sole purpose of making God's love known to others.

Christ meant prayer to be the great power by which His church should do its work, and the neglect of prayer is the reason the church lacks greater power.

Christ has no body now but yours, No hands, no feet on earth but yours, Yours are the eyes with which He looks Compassion on this world, Yours are the feet with which He walks to do good, Yours are the hands, with which He blesses all the world.

When we refrain from acting on what God says in His Word because we believe we can do more to help His cause, in reality it's pride - false humility. We indirectly communicate we know more than God, because God loves the poor, but at the same time tells us to pay those who labour in His Word doubly.

Doctrine is not an affair of the tongue but of the life.

In the school of Christ, men are not merely taught about justification; they are made just by what he has done for them.

I don't see life divided into public and private, secular and sacred. It's all an open place of service before our God.

It is a great privilege, as well as our responsibility, to pray for our government leaders.

It is the great business of every Christian to save souls.
