He rightly reads scripture who turns words into deeds.

Every time you walk a mile to church and carry a Bible with you, you preach a sermon a mile long.

Remember that you can pray any time, anywhere. Washing dishes, digging ditches, working in the office, in the shop, on the athletic field, even in prison - you can pray and know God hears!

Don't waste time asking God to keep you from doing things. Don't do them.

God cannot do for us what He cannot do through us, and today I pray that He works through me. May I be used for a higher purpose, as I surrender to Him my hands and feet, my thoughts and behavior. May they reflect His love. May angels guide me, that I might do the part assigned me to help heal the world.

We cannot save the world without God's help, but He can't save the world without ours. We need His love; He needs our hands and feet. Today I give Him mine.

If you're bored, one thing is for sure: You're not following in the footsteps of Christ.

We need more Spirit-empowered Christians who take seriously their call to witness to God's work in this world, and to do so in unity with other Christians, even if they don't agree on some secondary matters.

God's used me to help turn their life around or give them hope, you know? It's very rewarding

Authentic Christian living has its own order of priority in our lives: God first, others second, self third.

I only hope that He will let me preach to those who have never heard that name Jesus. What else is worthwhile in this life? I have heard of nothing better. 'Lord, send me!'

What's amazing when you get up and do something is what God does in your life. We just have to get up and do something.
