Anything you must have to be happy, the enemy can use it against you. When you can say, "God, this is what I want, but even if it doesn't work out my way, I'm still going to be happy." That takes away the power of the enemy.

God wants you to be a winner, not a whiner ... No matter how many times you get knocked down, keep getting back up. God sees your resolve. He sees your determination. And when you do everything you can do, that's when God will step in and do what you can't do.

You have to stand up to the enemy. Don't live intimidated by a bully that has no power over you. Ignore the roar. Quit believing the threats, living worried, letting all the negative things play in your mind.

Victory is not the absence of problems, it is the presence of power.

I found something! Courage--just that; courage as a rule of life and something to cling to always.

Don't let the incidents which take place in life bring you low. And certainly don't whine. You can be brought low, that's OK, but don't be reduced by them. Just say, 'That's life.'

It is courage, courage, courage, that raises the blood of life to crimson splendor.

You have to deal with what you encounter. But you must not be reduced. And so a way not to be reduced is don't whine! Don't let the incidents which take place in life bring you low.

Who has not seen a frail, clinging-vine type of woman, who upon the death of her husband strainghtens up and becomes an oak, around which the growing children twine their lives, and are forever greatful for such a mother? But this strength would never have come out and developed had it not been for the tears that watered the vine and made it into an oak.

Faith can move mountains. Doubt can create them.
