It may be very well to do this and that for good fellowship; but it will never do to lose the friendship of God in order to keep on good terms with men.

Real spiritual growth comes only through discipline and perseverance. In other words, it comes through sticking with it. One of the traps for all of us, however, is substituting activity for genuine fellowship with God.

No persons professing to be Christians should enter the marriage relation until the matter has been carefully and prayerfully considered from an elevated standpoint, to see if God can be glorified by the union.

He who does not believe God's promises—will never love him.

Without courage we can never attain to true simplicity. Cowardice keeps us "double minded" —hesitating between the world and God.

Whatever it takes to get you to the place where God is your all in all and you live in total dependence on Him is worth the pain. Let

You're treating your relationship with God like a fling. As it means nothing to Him and nothing to you. As if you can walk away from each other. But God doesn't operate that way.
