The good you have done, the kind words you have spoken, the love you have shown to others, can never be fully measured.

Love is giving and it has nothing to do with what you receive.

A disciple having asked for a definition of charity, the Master said LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Her instinct was always to act out of kindness and generosity instead of self-interest. She was a better person than me, and I was a better person when I was around her.

Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God's hand for that person.

I tell you, love your enemies. Help and give without expecting a return. You'll never — I promise — regret it. Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously, even when we're at our worst. Our Father is kind; you be kind.

When people say they are looking for happiness, I ask, What are you giving to the world?

I just try to love and serve everyone, and bring everyone water, and lend an ear; that's what Jesus said to do.

We certainly can try to grow in love, and it is good practice, this giving what we've got, whether it is a cup of coffee or money to pay the grocery bill.

She delighted in serving her guests a soothing cup of coffee, a slice of cake, and when the occasion called for it, a prayer of encouragement.

Happiness is found by giving it away.
