God will never disappoint us. He loves us and has only one purpose for us : holiness, which in His kingdom equals joy.

Matters of the heart still can never put us beyond His love and redemption.

My friend, a relationship with God is the key, the key to all of life, including your marriage.

The people who know God well—mystics, hermits, prayerful people, those who risk everything to find God—always meet a lover, not a dictator.

There's always a good reason to rejoice. There is a God in Heaven and in the heart. I had a piece of bread this morning. It was so good! Look now, the sun is shining! And so many here love me! Every day you do not rejoice is a day lost, my son!

God doesn't wait for you to reach maturity before he starts liking you. He loves and enjoys you at every stage of your spiritual development.

God's motive for creating you was his love.

God made you to love you, and he longs for you to love him back. He says, "I don't want your sacrifices—I want your love; I don't want your offerings—I want you to know me.

God gives us the grace and power to have a relationship with him.

Has God created millions of people over tens of thousands of years who are going to spend eternity in anguish? Can God do this, or even allow this, and still claim to be a loving God? Does God punish people for thousands of years with infinite, eternal torment for things they did in their few finite years of life?

For this is love and nothing else is love, The which it is reserved for God above To sanctify to what far ends He will, But which it only needs that we fulfil.

God doesn't want us to have rigid rituals with Him. In the new covenant, He is more interested in having a relationship with us.
